Publicado por el sello <b>Northern Spy<\/b> en 2025, este trabajo celebra los 39 a\u00f1os de existencia del grupo y se presenta como una obra monumental: tres discos, m\u00e1s de tres horas de m\u00fasica, y cuatro piezas extensas que desaf\u00edan las convenciones del tiempo y la forma, m\u00e1s a\u00fan en estos tiempos de inmediatez cuasi-instant\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n<p>La propuesta sonora de <i>Disquiet<\/i> se basa en la improvisaci\u00f3n colectiva, una pr\u00e1ctica que <b>The Necks<\/b> han elevado a un arte de precisi\u00f3n microquir\u00farjica. Cada pieza se construye y se descompone con una paciencia hipn\u00f3tica, en la que los instrumentos tradicionales \u2014piano, contrabajo y bater\u00eda\u2014 se mezclan con texturas indefinidas y sonidos de origen incierto. La escucha se convierte en una experiencia activa, donde el oyente decide qu\u00e9 seguir, qu\u00e9 ignorar, y c\u00f3mo interpretar el flujo sonoro.<\/p>\n<p>No hay orden prescrito para los discos, lo que refuerza la idea de que <b>The Necks<\/b> son m\u00e1s una forma de descubrimiento sonoro que una banda convencional. La m\u00fasica se despliega con una profundidad de las texturas y una contenci\u00f3n caracter\u00edstica, alternando entre motivos que evolucionan lentamente y fases de tremenda enegr\u00eda.
