En Espa\u00f1a la m\u00fasica m\u00e1s popular (otra cuesti\u00f3n es lo que ocurre con la tradicional), no ha pasado habitualmente al repertorio y\/o las grabaciones jazz\u00edsticas de los m\u00fasicos patrios. Ha habido algunos intentos como los de Chema S\u00e1iz (que en 1997 grab\u00f3 el valiente\u00a0<em>Mi carro<\/em>), pero no es habitual que estos temas hayan traspasado al repertorio de otros m\u00fasicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Tui Higgins &amp; Xavier Monge Jazz Project dedica su grabaci\u00f3n <em>Cecilia Revisited<\/em> a repasar el repertorio de la popular cantante en la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 70, fallecida en un ya lejano a\u00f1o 1976 con apenas 27 a\u00f1os. Esta artista fue la autora de todas las m\u00fasicas y de las letras de los temas interpretados en esta grabaci\u00f3n. Inicialmente sorprende la ausencia de los temas m\u00e1s conocidos de Evangelina Sobredo como \u00abUn ramito de violetas\u00bb, \u00abMi querida Espa\u00f1a\u00bb o \u00abDama, dama\u00bb; la \u00fanica excepci\u00f3n es la conocida \u00abNada de nada\u00bb, que es quiz\u00e1s el tema m\u00e1s flojo de la grabaci\u00f3n.
