Las piezas cubren una amplia gama emocional, aunque la muerte en 2022 de su hermano Rolf, clarinetista, sobrevuela, debido a su profundidad introspectiva. Adem\u00e1s, fue grabado a piano solo en su estudio personal de Ibiza durante 2023, lo que le otorga un car\u00e1cter \u00edntimo y muy reflexivo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEstas melod\u00edas condensadas en momentos reflejan las experiencias de una vida intensa. Con esta grabaci\u00f3n, realizada poco antes de su ochenta cumplea\u00f1os, el pianista se propuso ofrecer lo mejor de lo que era capaz: Joachim K\u00fchn, ese talento excepcional, pone el list\u00f3n m\u00e1s alto que nunca\u00bb, comenta el cr\u00edtico de jazz alem\u00e1n Bert Noglik en las notas del \u00e1lbum.<\/p>\n<p>En este disco, K\u00fchn sigue siendo uno de los pianistas europeos que mejor fusiona tres \u00e1mbitos musicales: jazz moderno post-Coltrane, tradici\u00f3n europea y vanguardia centroeuropea. En sus temas se pueden encontrar ecos de m\u00fasicos tan diversos como Debussy, Bart\u00f3k, Messiaen, Sch\u00f6nberg, Ligeti o John Cage y Cecil Taylor. <em>\u00c9chapp\u00e9e<\/em> es una declaraci\u00f3n de libertad y madurez creativa. K\u00fchn, en la c\u00faspide de su carrera, no solo demuestra su virtuosismo, sino tambi\u00e9n su capacidad para conciliar la t\u00e9cnica con el sentimiento profundo. Improvisaci\u00f3n, m\u00fasica reflexiva y jazz con ra\u00edces cl\u00e1sicas se dan la mano en un crisol en plena ebullici\u00f3n creativa.<\/p>\n<p>Hay momentos de brusquedad; algunos nos acercan a abismos y otros est\u00e1n llenos de rupturas. Instantes ligeros como \u00abH\u00f6re und Sehe\u00bb, intensos y densos como \u00abFrequenzen\u00bb y \u00abSchlachtfeld\u00bb y paisajes meditativos como es el caso de \u00abWeltall\u00bb. El recuerdo a su hermano est\u00e1 presente en \u00abMy Long Life with Brother Rolf\u00bb, que funciona como un <em>r\u00e9quiem<\/em> \u00edntimo y tambi\u00e9n como una pieza muy personal, evocando la p\u00e9rdida. El tema \u00ab\u00c9chapp\u00e9e\u00bb, m\u00e1s de 13 minutos, re\u00fane muchas de estas energ\u00edas: fugas aceleradas, di\u00e1logos a dos manos, cl\u00edmax po\u00e9ticos y un sentido de huida o liberaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de una interpretaci\u00f3n que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del jazz tradicional. Sus improvisaciones se asemejan a las fantas\u00edas de la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica con di\u00e1logos muy intensos. K\u00fchn aborda el piano como un instrumento orquestal, generando varias capas de sonido. Aunque es a piano solo, no suena solitario, sino como una conversaci\u00f3n profunda que se va ramificando en diferentes prismas sonoros. Los temas presentan una sutileza tem\u00e1tica a trav\u00e9s de una lograda modulaci\u00f3n entre libertad e introspecci\u00f3n.
