El repertorio recorre desde <em>grooves<\/em> m\u00e1s energ\u00e9ticos hasta temas introspectivos, con momentos que recuerdan tanto al jazz moderno como a influencias del <em>pop<\/em> sofisticado o ritmos latinos.<\/p>\n<p>En los ocho temas, Hekselman despliega dominio t\u00e9cnico y sensibilidad l\u00edrica, construyendo solos fluidos que, sin estridencias, capturan la atenci\u00f3n. Gilmore aporta impulso y matices din\u00e1micos, a la vez que Grenadier ofrece una base mel\u00f3dica profunda y modulada que eleva cada tema.<\/p>\n<p>En las composiciones propias, se aprecia un equilibrio entre melod\u00eda, ritmo y exploraci\u00f3n arm\u00f3nica, mientras que las piezas ajenas reciben tratamientos respetuosos pero muy personales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWise Man\u201d es uno de los temas m\u00e1s representativos del \u00e1lbum. Con una melod\u00eda clara, <em>groove<\/em> relajado y una interacci\u00f3n muy fina entre guitarra y secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica. Resume bien el equilibrio entre lirismo y modernidad que define al disco.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDownhill From Here\u201d es un tema conceptual que combina un pulso firme con un desarrollo arm\u00f3nico elegante. Hay un solo de Hekselman contenido pero muy expresivo, que deja espacio al di\u00e1logo con Grenadier y Gilmore. \u201cScoville\u201d presenta un lado m\u00e1s r\u00edtmico y m\u00e1s energ\u00e9tico con influencias latinas. Marcus Gilmore brilla especialmente aqu\u00ed, empujando al tr\u00edo hacia terrenos m\u00e1s el\u00e9ctricos sin perder sutileza. \u201cAlfie\u201d es el momento m\u00e1s mel\u00f3dico y accesible. Una lectura respetuosa y muy personal del cl\u00e1sico de Burt Bacharach, versionado hasta por el mismo Sonny Rollins. \u00a0\u201cLike a Wildflower\u201d es un tema ideal para escuchar con calma.
