En la versi\u00f3n del tema tradicional, \u00abSt. James Infirmary Blues\u00bb, un cl\u00e1sico en la historia del jazz, la inconfundible melod\u00eda aparece desde el principio para no desaparecer en ning\u00fan momento. Siempre al alcance, cercana y pr\u00f3xima, Duboc va recre\u00e1ndose en ella sin prisa, lentamente, palade\u00e1ndola, disfrutando nota a nota. La segunda parte resulta muy distinta. \u00abSaint-Martin\u00bb (el nombre de la iglesia de la localidad francesa de Bignac en la que se grab\u00f3 el CD), resulta una suite formada por improvisaciones al contrabajo en las que se van mostrando distintos recursos y t\u00e9cnicas expresivas que sin sobrepasar la frontera, est\u00e1n cercanas a las t\u00e9cnicas extendidas.
