Esta \u00e9poca es el periodo de efervescencia del <i>free jazz<\/i>, que en consonancia con lo social y pol\u00edtico en USA, fue art\u00edsticamente combativo en un intento de no olvidar algo tan esencial en el jazz como son sus or\u00edgenes (el jazz a la europea todav\u00eda estaba por llegar), y la libertad creativa. Los art\u00edculos seleccionados lo muestran como un visionario combativo. Un cr\u00edtico que lo mismo que supo ver lo importante y a los importantes justo en el momento en que estaban en plena ebullici\u00f3n y relat\u00e1rselo al lector de un modo vibrante, tampoco tuvo ning\u00fan tipo de problema en dar sus crudas opiniones sobre m\u00fasicos, y la manera en que los cr\u00edticos ejerc\u00edan su labor obviando el contexto que condicionaba la creaci\u00f3n de la m\u00fasica.
