Es bien conocido el car\u00e1cter revolucionario de esta obra. El p\u00fablico que asisti\u00f3 a su estreno reaccion\u00f3 de una manera furibunda. La cr\u00edtica se radicaliz\u00f3 en torno a esta obra dividi\u00e9ndose entre los bandos formados por sus partidarios a ultranza, y por quienes la consideraban como poco m\u00e1s que ruido incomprensible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La recreaci\u00f3n de The Bad Plus es de esperar que no provoque una reacci\u00f3n semejante.\u00a0Ethan Iverson, Reid Anderson y David King realizan una lectura en clave de jazz de esta obra que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la opci\u00f3n relativamente simple de aderezar con <em>swing<\/em> la m\u00fasica de Igor Stravinsky. A lo largo de la primera parte, <em>Adoration of the Earth<\/em>, hay un motivo musical plenamente reconocible que se repite de distintas maneras. En torno a estas repeticiones la m\u00fasica emplea distintos elementos que aparec\u00edan en la obra original como el uso de las disonancias, el cambio de ritmos o la variaci\u00f3n del tempo. Por otra parte The Bad Plus es un tr\u00edo que a lo largo de los a\u00f1os ha logrado funcionar como una maquinaria de precisi\u00f3n. Con todos estos ingredientes la m\u00fasica va alternando su car\u00e1cter entre pasajes con el ritmo muy marcado, frente a otros con un mayor grado de abstracci\u00f3n. En la segunda parte, <em>The Sacrifice<\/em>, se siguen empleando esos mismos componentes, aunque en esta ocasi\u00f3n en la parte final prima la intensidad.
