Perfectamente engrasado, el tr\u00edo combina sutileza con ferocidad, mostrando buen manejo de din\u00e1micas y un <em>groove<\/em> envidiable. Mucho tiene que ver el buen hacer del bater\u00eda Dennis Chambers, un experto en estas lides, y del bajista Will Lee, experto m\u00fasico de sesi\u00f3n que, al igual que el l\u00edder, comparte su instrumento con tareas vocales accesorias (\u201cBreaksong\u201d).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Brown le debe mucho a Jimi Hendrix, como demuestra no s\u00f3lo versionando \u201cUp From The Skies\u201d, sino en su forma de tocar (especialmente apreciable en \u201cTwo Numbers\u201d). Los efectos de guitarra tambi\u00e9n juegan un papel importante, combinando sonido limpio con distorsionado y hasta sintetizado (\u201cSolid\u201d). A pesar de la presunta \u201csuciedad\u201d de dicha distorsi\u00f3n, y del propio enfoque roquero del tr\u00edo, los tres instrumentos suenan con total claridad hasta el punto de hacer parecer sencillo su trabajo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Los temas discurren sin prisa y abarcando un amplio espectro entre el marcado ritmo del mencionado \u201cUp From The Skies\u201d (con <em>slap<\/em> a cargo de Lee incluido) a la desnudez de la guitarra sin acompa\u00f1amiento en el \u201cSoul Eyes\u201d de Mal Waldron. Dennis Chambers se luce en \u201cCamel Hump\u201d, con <em>background<\/em> de bajo y bater\u00eda, Lee ofrece lirismo en la melod\u00eda inicial de \u201cThe Battle\u2019s Over\u201d y Brown suena algo m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico en \u201cClave Groove\u201d. Para acabar, el \u201cAll You Need Is Love\u201d de los Beatles, en plan <em>funk<\/em> y con bajista y guitarrista cantando.
