A priori el proyecto puede parecer un disparate, pero el resultado engancha, y mucho. El trompetista Thad Jones comparte protagonismo con un Frank Wess que reparte su trabajo entre el tenor y la flauta, y el guitarrista Kenny Burrell (qui\u00e9n mejor que \u00e9l para abordar el\u00a0<em>blues<\/em>) aporta la voz en contraste. Las cuatro composiciones, por cierto, son originales del pianista Mal Waldron, que no va precisamente a la zaga de sus compa\u00f1eros en lo que a\u00a0improvisaci\u00f3n se refiere. Y si el proyecto funciona a las mil maravillas tambi\u00e9n se debe a sus s\u00f3lidos cimientos: Paul Chambers y Art Taylor, ni m\u00e1s ni menos.
