Si bien el t\u00edtulo del disco puede ser pretencioso, la m\u00fasica no lo es en ning\u00fan momento, destilando en este inusual tr\u00edo de saxo, guitarra y piano una conversaci\u00f3n relajada y de extraordinaria madurez. Aqu\u00ed escuchamos a Mariano, a sus ochenta y cuatro a\u00f1os, imprimi\u00e9ndole a su saxo ese toque feroz que siempre le caracteriz\u00f3, a un Catherine m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido de lo habitual y a un van\u2019t Hof que sabe aglutinar el sonido del tr\u00edo, aunque en algunas ocasiones su teclado puede pecar de efectista. En las seis interpretaciones abundan los solos y los pasajes a d\u00fao destacando especialmente \u201cRandy\u201d, una c\u00e1lida balada, y la melodiosa \u201cPlum Island\u201d, ambas de Charlie Mariano.
