En <em>South Lamar Boulevard<\/em> se conjugan varios elementos como la elegancia, la sobriedad y un tono general melanc\u00f3lico que envuelve cada una de las piezas. No exenta de un alto grado de emotividad, la m\u00fasica de Bridges hace gala de un cierto eclecticismo lanzando puentes entre m\u00fasicas e influencias de lo m\u00e1s diversas, como el <em>country<\/em>, el folk y el jazz. La incorporaci\u00f3n del guitarrista David Soler aporta con el <em>pedal steel<\/em> un continuo toque estilo medio oeste americano que a\u00f1ade densidad a este trabajo muy bien interpretado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sus trece composiciones se reparten entre los componentes del tr\u00edo, Guillem Callej\u00f3n, Dimas Corbera y Alfons Bertran, m\u00e1s una del propio Chris Cheek. La interacci\u00f3n entre los cinco componentes del grupo funciona a las mil maravillas, sin que se pueda decir que haya un cierto protagonismo de alguno sobre otro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las aportaciones de Chris Cheek son casi siempre a medio tono, en esbozos de baladas l\u00edricas, complementadas con sutiles punteos de guitarra y tenues aportaciones de la bater\u00eda. El disco est\u00e1 trufado de cautivadores di\u00e1logos protagonizados por el saxo y la guitarra. En general las piezas est\u00e1n dotadas de un tono c\u00e1lido en los que se destila gran serenidad. El desarrollo de guitarra, saxo y bater\u00eda est\u00e1 siempre marcado por esa sutileza en las interpretaciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>South Lamar Boulevard<\/em> es de una elegancia que cautiva. Todos los temas est\u00e1n exquisitamente resueltos. En ocasiones parece que estemos asistiendo a pinceladas sonoras, muy evocadoras desde el punto de vista pl\u00e1stico.
