En este <em>Soul Junction <\/em>organiza una especie de <em>spin-off<\/em> del grupo del trompetista, del que conserva al contrabajista <strong>Paul<\/strong> <strong>Chambers<\/strong> y a un <strong>John<\/strong> <strong>Coltrane<\/strong> en plena ebullici\u00f3n, exactamente dos meses despu\u00e9s de grabar su legendario <em>Blue Train<\/em>. Para mantener el nivel el l\u00edder completa la banda con <strong>Donald Byrd<\/strong> a la trompeta y <strong>Art<\/strong> <strong>Taylor<\/strong> a la bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sesi\u00f3n, de la que tambi\u00e9n se public\u00f3 el disco <em>All Mornin&#8217; Long<\/em>, arranca con el <em>blues<\/em>, original de <strong>Garland<\/strong>, que da t\u00edtulo al \u00e1lbum. Histri\u00f3nico como pocos, el pianista muestra todo su arsenal en diecis\u00e9is minutos de l\u00e1nguida interpretaci\u00f3n. Los vientos se sueltan en dos composiciones de <strong>Dizzy<\/strong> <strong>Gillespie<\/strong> para devolver protagonismo a <strong>Garland<\/strong>, que acaricia sus teclas en el \u00abI&#8217;ve Got It Bad\u00bb de <strong>Duke<\/strong> <strong>Ellington<\/strong>.
