No es ni con mucho la obra m\u00e1s conocida de Freddie Hubbard, pero indudablemente es una de las mejores. \u00a1Obra maestra sin concesiones!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo aderezado con un sonido superlativo que para s\u00ed quisieran grabaciones posteriores e incluso las actuales digitales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El disco comienza con \u201cWithout a Song\u201d, cuya velocidad de v\u00e9rtigo y compenetraci\u00f3n caracterizan los excelentes solos de Freddie Hubbard y Eddie Daniels de principio a fin. Louis Hayes proporciona un enorme impulso, y una seguridad r\u00edtmica y s\u00f3lida no solo en este tema sino en todos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cJust One of Those Things\u201d, es un ejercicio de arrebato delirante y disparatado; en el que el primer solo de Freddie Hubbard &#8211; pleno de <em>swing<\/em>&#8211; te deja sin aliento. Toma el relevo Eddie Daniels con la misma fuerza y garra y Roland Hanna pone \u201ccordura\u201d y finura con la misma velocidad. Compenetraci\u00f3n entre todos y v\u00e9rtigo que rompe moldes. Una gozada para los m\u00fasicos y para el oyente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cBlues for Duane\u201d es un <em>blues<\/em> dedicado al hijo de Freddie Hubbard, -Duane- donde los solos de trompeta con sordina de Freddie Hubbard nos inundan de belleza y lirismo e interact\u00faan con Eddie Daniels, modulan con el piano de Roland Hanna y se implementan con la contundencia del bajo de Richard Davis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En \u201cThe Things We Did Last Summer\u201d la ausencia de Eddie Daniels marca el devenir del tema, cobrando el m\u00e1ximo protagonismo Freddie Hubbard donde llena su trompeta de<em> feeling <\/em>y ecos infinitos en una balada eterna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cierra el disco la composici\u00f3n de Roland Hanna, \u201cMuses For Richard Davis\u201d no aparecida en la versi\u00f3n vinilo.
