El periodista brit\u00e1nico Stuart Nicholson (habitual de JazzWise y autor, entre otros, de uno de los mejores libros publicados sobre el movimiento del jazz-rock \u2013<em>Jazz-Rock: a History<\/em>) se ha documentado hasta la saciedad con el fin de retratar el momento actual del jazz, juzgar el camino que ha tomado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os e informar sobre tendencias que podr\u00edan marcar el futuro inmediato. Firmemente sustentado en testimonios de destacados miembros de la comunidad jazz\u00edstica, pero con un claro posicionamiento antirrevisionista donde se exaltan las virtudes del jazz escandinavo y se ataca sin piedad a Wynton Marsalis y Jazz at Lincoln Center, un peque\u00f1o vistazo a los t\u00edtulos de los nueve cap\u00edtulos que conforman la obra puede orientar sobre sus contenidos al lector potencial:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>\u00bfA d\u00f3nde vamos desde aqu\u00ed?
