Afincado en Alemania form\u00f3 el grupo Set al lado del afamado guitarrista alem\u00e1n Volker Kriegel.<\/p>\n

Dave Pike Set grab\u00f3 este Infra-Red<\/em> en el MPS Tonstudio, Villingen, el 15 y 18 de junio de 1970, dentro de lo que podr\u00edamos denominar jazz-rock<\/em> o jazz de fusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Destacan los temas progresivos \u201cAttack of the Green Misers\u201d, con un original solo de guitarra distorsionada de Volker Kriegel y \u201cSend Me the Yellow Guys\u201d donde sobresale el bajo el\u00e9ctrico de J.A. Rettenbacher, la bater\u00eda de Peter Baumeister y el vibr\u00e1fono de Dave Pike y la guitarra de Volker Kriegel; la \u00e9tno-psicod\u00e9lica \u201cRaga Jeeva Swara\u201d con Volker Kriegel al sitar ind\u00fa y por supuesto la lis\u00e9rgica, disonante y free-jazz<\/em> \u201cInfra Red\u201d.<\/p>\n

El resto se reparten ente la campestre y bluesera<\/em> \u201cSuspicious Child, Growing Up\u201d, las swingueantes<\/em>, \u201cBut Anyway\u201d y \u201cSoul-Eggs\u201d, y la caribe\u00f1a \u201cRabbi Mogen’s Hideout\u201d en las que luce el vibr\u00e1fono de Dave Pike.<\/p>\n
