\"BobBob Willoughby (1927-2009) es una figura esencial en el fotoperiodismo. Sus fotos ilustraron la portada de revistas como Life<\/em>. Trabaj\u00f3 para Warner Bros como cronista visual del Hollywood de los 50. Inventor de mejoras t\u00e9cnicas como la c\u00e1mara por radiocontrol, en la actualidad su trabajo se exhibe en museos de Nueva York o Londres. Antes de alcanzar la fama se dedic\u00f3 a fotografiar a m\u00fasicos de jazz en un tiempo en la que todav\u00eda estaban en activo los gigantes de una primera \u00e9poca (Armstrong, Ellington) junto a otros no menos grandes que hab\u00edan ido llegando para quedarse (Dave Brubeck, Billie Holiday, Gerry Mulligan). Este maestro de los objetivos acompa\u00f1a sus fotos \u2013que en muchos casos captan momentos de introspecci\u00f3n musical o el trabajo fuera del escenario- por jugosas reflexiones. Sus instant\u00e1neas y su afici\u00f3n dan un salto de la d\u00e9cada de los 50 a los 90. All\u00ed confiesa que decidi\u00f3 abandonar la fotograf\u00eda de jazz ya que no conoc\u00eda a la mayor\u00eda de las nuevas figuras, o nos revela que Ellis (cabeza de la saga de los Marsalis) es bastante m\u00e1s antip\u00e1tico que Wynton, el m\u00e1s popular de sus integrantes.
