Consecuencia de sus graves problemas de salud, est\u00e1 la p\u00e9rdida de su capacidad del habla. A pesar de estas dificultades que la han mantenido durante mucho tiempo alejada de la actividad musical, esta cantante grab\u00f3 en el mes de mayo de 2014 el doble CD <em>No Is No<\/em>, que apenas cinco meses despu\u00e9s ha publicado el inquieto sello <strong>Improvising<\/strong> <strong>Beings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inicialmente estaba previsto haber sido publicada \u00fanicamente la sesi\u00f3n en estudio. No obstante, el magn\u00edfico entendimiento entre el sexteto de m\u00fasicos formado por <strong>Sharrock<\/strong>, el trompetista <strong>Itaru<\/strong> <strong>Oki<\/strong>, el saxofonista <strong>Mario Rechtern<\/strong>, el pianista <strong>Eric Zinman<\/strong>, el contrabajista <strong>Yoram Rosilio<\/strong> y el baterista <strong>Makoto Sato<\/strong>, ha llevado a la publicaci\u00f3n de un doble CD con un disco adicional grabado en directo al d\u00eda siguiente del encuentro en el estudio parisino.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A lo largo de toda su carrera <strong>Linda Sharrock<\/strong> ha utilizado la voz de un modo heterodoxo, de tal modo que el\u00a0 lenguaje ha para ella sido un elemento m\u00e1s de expresi\u00f3n, pero no el \u00fanico. Esto la ha convertido en una importante figura del jazz vocal, quiz\u00e1s no tanto por su discograf\u00eda -m\u00e1s bien breve-, sino por los caminos que ha transitado y que ha ayudado a definir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2014 hace de la carencia virtud, registrando dos temas de 50 minutos aproximadamente cada uno, en los que improvisa empleando las limitadas posibilidades de sus cuerdas vocales en una propuesta (intensa por momentos, relajada en otros) en la que hay trazas de blues, de <em>free jazz<\/em> y de improvisaci\u00f3n libre no idiom\u00e1tica.
