Estas provienen de temas de la m\u00fasica pop (\u00abBlackbird\u00bb y \u00abNorwegian Wood\u00bb de los Beatles), el jazz (especialmente el <em>hard-bop<\/em> con los m\u00e1s que reconocibles \u00abRuby, My Dear\u00bb de Monk, \u00abPent Up House\u00bb de Sonny Rollins, \u00abWest Coast Blues\u00bb de Wes Montgomery, y el <em>standard<\/em> \u00abClose Enough For Love\u00bb), la m\u00fasica de car\u00e1cter folkl\u00f3rico (\u00abLuiza\u00bb de Jobim, \u00abMenina na Janela\u00bb de Meurkens, la popular en Rusia \u00abLady Bear&#8217;s Lullaby\u00bb), y la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica (\u00abScriabin\u00bb de Tsiganov, y \u00abEtude Op.2 N\u00ba1\u00bb de Scriabin). Estos temas sirven de plataforma para que tanto en d\u00fao como en cuarteto (en seis de los trece temas est\u00e1n acompa\u00f1ados por el contrabajista Oleg Osenkov y el baterista Willard Dyson), Meurkens y Tsiganov muestren sus magn\u00edficas maneras y entendimiento, trabajando con sus respectivos instrumentos. Unos ejemplos m\u00e1s que notables son la versi\u00f3n del tema de Monk, la aproximaci\u00f3n a la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica que realiza el pianista en los dos temas centrados en Scriabin, o las m\u00e1s jazz\u00edsticas versiones de los temas de Montgomery y Rollins. Variedad por encima de todo lo dem\u00e1s tanto en el repertorio como en la aproximaci\u00f3n a su interpretaci\u00f3n, <em>Junity<\/em> no es una propuesta que resulte especialmente arriesgada.
