En esta grabaci\u00f3n hay m\u00e1s bien poco de jazz, y nada de <em>free<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oculto en este grupo tras el nombre de Lyndon Berg est\u00e1 el cantante y baterista Udo Lindenberg, una gran estrella del rock en Alemania, que se ha caracterizado a lo largo de su\u00a0carrera por cantar en alem\u00e1n en vez de en ingl\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00a0Este artista, el trompetista Fred Christmann y el saxofonista norteamericano Frank St. Peter formaron\u00a0en Hamburgo el grupo Free Orbit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En\u00a0<em>Free Jazz Goes Underground<\/em>\u00a0Lindenberg se encarg\u00f3 de toda la m\u00fasica y letras, mientras que Frank St. Peter realiz\u00f3 los arreglos de la mayor parte de las canciones. El grupo lo ampliaron hasta formato de noneto\u00a0incluyendo una potente secci\u00f3n de vientos. A los dos ya mencionados\u00a0se unieron Heinz Habermann (trompeta),\u00a0Peter Herbolzheimer (tromb\u00f3n bajo), y Emil Wurster (saxo tenor). El resto de la formaci\u00f3n la completaron el vocalista Mike Brooks, y los contrabajistas Hans Hartmann y Rainer Vogelei. A pesar de las posibilidades que permit\u00eda esta formaci\u00f3n, la propuesta entronca con el <em>jazz rock<\/em> de grupos de la \u00e9poca (finales de la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 60) como Blood, Sweet and Tears.
