Por Enrique Farelo y Carlos Lara\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=11226\" target=\"_blank\">October Equus<\/a> desde aproximadamente el a\u00f1o 2006 con cinco trabajos publicados: October<em> Equus<\/em>, <em>Charybdis<\/em>, <em>Saturnal<\/em>, <em>Permafrost<\/em> y <em>Isla Purgatorio<\/em>. Al margen su carrera en solitario comprende <em>Land of Rain and Steel<\/em>, <em>Mundo Flotante<\/em> y algunas colaboraciones con el percusionista Vasco Trilla como <em>En directo en el Festival L.E.M.<\/em> o <em>Aceite de perro<\/em> e incluso con el saxofonista Alfonso Mu\u00f1oz como <em>\u00c9xtasis y Tormento de Camilla Sodoma <\/em>entre otros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora nos presenta un trabajo digital basado en dos guitarras en solitario interpretadas por el mismo y que lleva por t\u00edtulo <em>K\u200b-\u200bFaces Suite<\/em>. Repertorio formado por 13 breves composiciones propias encaradas desde la perspectiva del jazz. De sonido fresco parece arrimarse al <em>cool jazz<\/em> propuesto en la d\u00e9cada de los setenta por artistas como Philip Catherine \/ Larry Coryell en su obra <em>Twin House<\/em> o <em>Spaces <\/em>del propio Larry Coryell o incluso a cosas grabadas en esa d\u00e9cada para el sello ECM de Bill Connors (<em>Swimming With A Hole In My Body<\/em> o <em>Theme To The Guardian<\/em>), John Abercrombie con Ralph Towner (<em>Sargasso Sea<\/em>), e incluso yendo m\u00e1s all\u00e1 a la <em>New Age<\/em> de guitarristas como Stephen Caudel (<em>Scaramouche<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bellas armon\u00edas arropadas por po\u00e9ticas estrofas pueblan desde el inicio este viaje sonoro hasta la conclusi\u00f3n. Verbigracia, desde la inicial \u201cStop poisoning my life\u201d hasta la intensa \u201cSticks\u201d. Ecos profundos y atm\u00f3sferas cambiantes en \u201cDeleted\u201d. <em>Swingueante<\/em> y disonante \u201cSpecial point\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>K\u200b-\u200bFaces Suite<\/em> es una invitaci\u00f3n a una nueva escucha en un bucle sin fin que tras haber finalizado la primera nos engancha una y otra vez en su frescura de ideas claras e introspectivas.
