Por un lado da gusto escuchar cada una de las interpretaciones que nos dej\u00f3 el maestro del bajo el\u00e9ctrico. Por otro se reabre el debate sobre las producciones musicales de bajo coste, especialmente en casos en que el m\u00fasico ya no puede opinar. La calidad de sonido de este directo japon\u00e9s es simplemente aceptable (hay ruido de fondo y la se\u00f1al del bajo satura en varios momentos), y discos similares (y oficiales) como\u00a0<i>The Birthday Concert<\/i>\u00a0o\u00a0<i>Invitation<\/i>\u00a0ya dieron fe de la gira de esta\u00a0<i>Jaco Pastorius Word Of Mouth Big Band<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sea como fuere, en este\u00a0<i>Donna Lee<\/i>\u00a0encontramos un desparpajo y una espontaneidad que le diferencian de los dos compactos mencionados. Randy Brecker y Bob Mintzer despuntan especialmente en sus solos, \u201cInvitation\u201d camina como un ca\u00f1\u00f3n, la arm\u00f3nica de Toots Thielemans toma riesgos recompensados en \u201cSophisticated Lady\u201d y el inicial \u201cDonna Lee\u201d sirve como ejemplo de anarqu\u00eda controlada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pastorius comparte el primer y el segundo plano todo el rato.
