El estreno discogr\u00e1fico hom\u00f3nimo del grupo recoge un concierto de una hora en el londinense Vortex Jazz Club. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os dos m\u00fasicos pertenencientas a distintas generaciones como ocurre con el veterano Evan Parker y Peter Evans, han colaborado de distintos modos demostrando la gran afinidad art\u00edstica de ambos m\u00fasicos: adem\u00e1s de conciertos con distintas formaciones y colaboradores a lo largo de los a\u00f1os, Evan Parker ha publicado varias grabaciones en las que participa Peter Evans en su sello Psi, incluyendo sus grabaciones en solitario <em>Nature \/ Culture<\/em> y <em>More Is More<\/em> -que a su vez es el nombre del sello de Peter Evans-; este tambi\u00e9n ha sido invitado a colaborar con el veterano tr\u00edo que Parker forma con Barry Guy y Paul Lytton, y que tom\u00f3 forma en la grabaci\u00f3n <em>Scenes In The House Of Music<\/em> (Clean Feed). A estos dos m\u00fasicos se unen el pianista Craig Taborn y Sam Pluta, que con su ordenador se encarga de realizar el procesamiento del sonido en directo. Pluta es precisamente el protagonista central de la grabaci\u00f3n. El tratamiento del sonido en directo resulta un complemento esencial a las improvisaciones de Parker, Evans y Taborn. El resultado final es una m\u00fasica de car\u00e1cter camer\u00edstico, una propuesta de improvisaci\u00f3n electro-ac\u00fastica de primer nivel. El concierto, dividido en cuatro temas con una duraci\u00f3n de en torno a los quince minutos, va recorriendo fases de distinta intensidad. Los cuatro m\u00fasicos van transformando la tranquilidad en crispaci\u00f3n, para volver a la tranquilidad en \u00abFlutter\u00bb. En \u00abLife Support Systems\u00bb resulta notable no tanto la manera en que van manejando la intensidad de la m\u00fasica, sino las distintas interacciones y solos que van surgiendo por parte de Parker, Evans y Taborn, convenientemente transformados por Pluta. El pianista se muestra especialmente l\u00edrico, mientras que el trompetista demuestra tanto su tremenda capacidad de trabajar con la trompeta de un modo ortodoxo, como de emplearla de un modo heterodoxo. Evan Parker alterna la utilizaci\u00f3n de los saxos soprano y tenor, mostr\u00e1ndose especialmente l\u00edrico con el primero en \u00abFluid Dynamics\u00bb. \u00abNoise Control\u00bb, el tema m\u00e1s corto de los cuatro (aunque se extiende hasta los once minutos), resulta m\u00e1s intenso que el resto, convirti\u00e9ndose en un cierre perfecto para un gran concierto, que seg\u00fan se indica en las notas, se public\u00f3 sin ning\u00fan tipo de edici\u00f3n u <em>overdubs<\/em> posteriores.
