Phil Chester ha sido componente de la Ed Palermo Big Band durante 20 a\u00f1os y tambi\u00e9n se dedica a la ense\u00f1anza. <em>Open Door Samba<\/em> cubre varios estilos incluyendo momentos de <em>swing<\/em>, <em>samba <\/em>e incluso<em> g\u00f3spel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A trav\u00e9s del habitual formato de secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica con la incorporaci\u00f3n de saxo, viol\u00edn y violonchelo, los arreglos de Chester demuestran una riqueza creativa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La tradicional secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica marca la pauta de los temas, pero predomina el saxo soprano con los instrumentos de cuerda contribuyendo a enaltecer las texturas sonoras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sensibilidad y explosividad tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n presentes en este disco. <em>Open Door Samba <\/em>contiene melod\u00edas bastante accesibles.
