Por un lado est\u00e1 la direcci\u00f3n que marca el tiempo, con un inicio \u2013al menos en lo que a su desarrollo en Am\u00e9rica se refiere- muy definido. Por otro lado est\u00e1 la m\u00fasica afroamericana que, del mismo modo que tiene una gran cantidad de or\u00edgenes e influencias, ha tenido un desarrollo muy marcado por lo geogr\u00e1fico.
