En el a\u00f1o 1998 Sony public\u00f3\u00a0<em>The Complete Bitches Brew<\/em>. Una caja de cuatro CD en la que se supon\u00eda reedici\u00f3n definitiva de la m\u00edtica obra de Miles Davis. Un disco importante porque supuso la inmersi\u00f3n del gran trompetista en el p\u00fablico rock de finales de la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 60, e importante tambi\u00e9n porque fue su mayor \u00e9xito comercial hasta ese momento con m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de copias vendidas. Tambi\u00e9n supuso un punto de ruptura: si bien el disco no inclu\u00eda ning\u00fan tipo de concesi\u00f3n comercial (no hab\u00eda temas cantados, tampoco melod\u00edas facilonas, y salvo un tema el resto superaba los diez minutos), supuso que parte de los seguidores del trompetista de Saint Louis le volvieran definitivamente la espalda acus\u00e1ndole de haberse vendido definitivamente al rock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2010 Columbia\/Legacy lo vuelve a poner en circulaci\u00f3n, a\u00f1adiendo material que no aparec\u00eda en la supuesta grabaci\u00f3n al completo. As\u00ed, tras los seis temas que formaban el LP doble original (\u00abPharaoh&#8217;s Dance\u00bb, \u00abBiches Brew\u00bb, \u00abSpanish Key\u00bb, \u00abJohn McLaughlin\u00bb, \u00abMiles Runs the Voodoo Down\u00bb y \u00abSanctuary\u00bb) incluyen dos versiones in\u00e9ditas de \u00abSpanish Key\u00bb y \u00abJohn McLaughlin\u00bb, y las versiones en formato <em>single<\/em> de \u00abMiles Runs the Voodoo Down\u00bb, \u00abSpanish Key\u00bb, \u00abGreat Expectations\u00bb y \u00abLittle Blue Frog\u00bb con duraciones en torno a los dos minutos y medio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo ni esas versiones in\u00e9ditas ni los temas en versi\u00f3n <em>single <\/em>son lo m\u00e1s sabroso de la reedici\u00f3n. \u00c9sta, adem\u00e1s de dos CD incluye un DVD grabado en Copenhage el 4 de noviembre de 1969. En dicho concierto se puede disfrutar con Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland y Jack DeJohnette interpretando versiones en directo de la mitad de los temas del disco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En otras ocasiones las reediciones aportan poco o nada a lo ya publicado con anterioridad. Sin embargo en esta ocasi\u00f3n la <em>Legacy Edition<\/em> de <em>Bitches Brew<\/em> supone un buen complemento tanto al disco original, como a la caja con las <em>Complete Sessions<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a9 Adolphus van Tenzing<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Miles Davis. <em>Bitches Brew.
