La mayor\u00eda de las (extensas) composiciones se inician de forma tranquila, entre susurros, para subir progresivamente en intensidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El tr\u00edo ofrece un magn\u00edfico ejemplo de c\u00f3mo jugar a crear tensi\u00f3n \u2013en particular con la repetici\u00f3n de motivos\u2013 y resolverla. La bater\u00eda de John Hollenbeck alterna el papel de colorista y de impulsor r\u00edtmico. Stomu Takeishi utiliza sabiamente la distorsi\u00f3n para convertir el bajo en un \u201cmonstruo\u201d de varias cabezas, un elemento mel\u00f3dico pero tambi\u00e9n un colch\u00f3n sonoro. Por su parte, Cuong Vu utiliza multitud de registros a la trompeta, con susurros y juegos de eco, que rompe con largas l\u00edneas mel\u00f3dicas orgi\u00e1sticas.
