Jim Hall (Paul Desmong Take Ten, 1963)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Uno de los atractivos del jazz son los <em>solos<\/em>, las intervenciones, m\u00e1s o menos improvisadas, que realizan los miembros de un grupo acompa\u00f1ados por el resto de sus compa\u00f1eros. Salvo honrosas excepciones, las grandes estrellas que configuran el canon del jazz suelen ser grandes solistas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Algunos de estos solistas parecen haber nacido para acaparar los focos, bien sea por un espectacular virtuosismo, bien por la angustiosa necesidad de expresar algo. Otros, no obstante, parecen candidatos m\u00e1s improbables a ser el centro de atenci\u00f3n. Un ejemplo: Jim Hall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Hall es uno de los guitarristas m\u00e1s respetados de la historia del jazz (Pat Metheny se deshace en elogios cuando habla de \u00e9l, y no es el \u00fanico). Persona discreta y apocada, es un excelente acompa\u00f1ante y, como solista, elegante y mesurado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El solo que nos ocupa lo grab\u00f3, el 10 de junio de 1963, como miembro del cuarteto de Paul Desmond.
