A lo largo de los veinte temas, con una duraci\u00f3n media de apenas cuatro minutos, los tres m\u00fasicos se las arreglaron para aproximarse a este repertorio de un modo muy original, comenzando por la formaci\u00f3n, que remit\u00eda a la del tr\u00edo del recientemente fallecido Jimmy Giuffre. A lo largo de todo el disco resaltaban especialmente el respeto y cari\u00f1o hacia las melod\u00edas.
