Editado en 1990 tras su paso por Steps Ahead, es un excelente trabajo de <em>jazz fusion<\/em> que recoge la evoluci\u00f3n del estilo en la d\u00e9cada precedente y anticipa el sonido de Metro, banda que Loeb fund\u00f3 poco despu\u00e9s junto al teclista Mitchel Forman y que contin\u00faa activa en la actualidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La m\u00fasica presente en <em>Life Colors<\/em> es contempor\u00e1nea y est\u00e1 vigente en forma y armon\u00eda, pero suena est\u00e9ticamente trivial, na\u00edf, pasada de moda. Es curioso c\u00f3mo los timbres instrumentales y el trabajo de estudio pueden influir tanto en el resultado final. Obviando el aspecto de la obra, Loeb se muestra tan efectivo como siempre a la el\u00e9ctrica y la ac\u00fastica, con o sin distorsi\u00f3n. Le secundan el teclista Jim Beard, el bajista Will Lee y el bater\u00eda Zach Danziger, con colaboraciones del percusionista Sammy Figueroa y los saxofonistas Bill Evans y Michael Brecker (extraordinaria su aparici\u00f3n en \u00abGravity\u00bb).
