El lied en cuesti\u00f3n es \u201cAuf einer Burg\u201d (\u201cEn el castillo\u201d), el n\u00famero 7 opus 39 para ser precisos (el segundo ciclo de canciones compuesto por Schumann). Ambos m\u00fasicos se muestran sumamente respetuosos con la hermosa\/bella\/bonita\/preciosa (esc\u00f3jase el adjetivo que se prefiera) melod\u00eda de esta composici\u00f3n de tono melanc\u00f3lico, perfecto ejemplo del cancionero rom\u00e1ntico alem\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don Byron (otro apellido rom\u00e1ntico, por cierto) fue el primero en versionarla en 1990-91 (el disco no indica la fecha exacta de grabaci\u00f3n), \u201chaciendo la voz\u201d al clarinete bajo y acompa\u00f1ado al piano. El tema sirve para cerrar de forma introspectiva el que fue su magn\u00edfico disco de debut (tal vez el mejor de su discograf\u00eda). Byron enuncia la melod\u00eda dos veces sin florituras ni adornos, siempre en un registro medio-grave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una d\u00e9cada m\u00e1s tarde, Jason Moran la incluy\u00f3 en su ced\u00e9 en solitario <em>Modernistic<\/em>, tambi\u00e9n muy recomendable. La interpretaci\u00f3n es fiel al original, aunque ligeramente menos taciturna que la de Byron.
