En este caso el guitarrista Grant Green y el pianista Sonny Clark se atreven con el tres por cuatro de \u00abSomeday My Prince Will Come\u00bb (ese delicioso vals de la pel\u00edcula de <em>Blancanieves<\/em>), pas\u00e1ndolo a la habitual m\u00e9trica de cuatro por cuatro y haci\u00e9ndolo <em>swingar<\/em> contagiosamente. El experimento triunfa, obteniendo un todo org\u00e1nico que parece haber sido concebido de esta forma. Para a\u00f1adir tensi\u00f3n, antes de la exposici\u00f3n mel\u00f3dica se incluye una nueva parte escrita (repetida tras la melod\u00eda final). Y el \u00e9xito no solo se circunscribe al arreglo: Green, Clark y el saxofonista Ike Quebec improvisan con maestr\u00eda.
