La banda <em>Queens Of The Stone Age<\/em> est\u00e1 entre la \u00e9lite del rock mundial y su l\u00edder, Josh Homme, es un guitarrista de apabullante sonido y originalidad. Sus imprevisibles solos est\u00e1n llenos armon\u00edas y m\u00e9tricas relativamente alejadas de la tradici\u00f3n del rock, y suelen ser sumamente estimulantes para cualquier aficionado a la improvisaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2005 la banda edit\u00f3 su \u00e1lbum <em>Lullabies To Paralyze<\/em>, cuyo primer single fue este \u201cLittle Sister\u201d. El solo de guitarra comienza en el minuto 2:00 con la repetici\u00f3n del motivo principal de la guitarra y desemboca en una peque\u00f1a improvisaci\u00f3n llena de aristas y giros sorprendentes que nos lleva hasta el final del tema. La guitarra suena cargada de <em>fuzz<\/em>, con un sonido que no le ser\u00eda ajeno a guitarristas como Marc Ribot, Marc Ducret, Wayne Krantz o Nels Cline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLittle Sister\u201d puso un solo como este en todas las radios <em>mainstream<\/em> del mundo, algo para quitarse el sombrero. Ahora que <em>Lullabies To Paralyze<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musiconvinyl.com\/releases\/Queens_Of_The_Stone_Age\/Lullabies_To_Paralyze\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acaba de ser reeditado en vinilo<\/a>, es un buen momento para redescubrirlo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una curiosidad: en su gira de 2005 presentando este \u00e1lbum, una de las paradas de la banda de Josh Homme fue el Miles Davis Hall del Festival de Jazz de Montreux.
