Lo que resulta m\u00e1s inusual es que se moviera por los territorios del <em>free<\/em> y otras vanguardias del jazz. Estaba formado por cuatro fuertes personalidades at\u00edpicas pero complementarias. <strong>Bill Laswell<\/strong>, productor y (fenomenal) bajista con un curr\u00edculum interminable y un conocimiento musical enciclop\u00e9dico, actuaba como aglutinador \u2013dentro y fuera del escenario-. A la bater\u00eda, <strong>Ronald Shannon Jackson<\/strong>, impulsaba al grupo con sus polirritmos, pasando del <em>free<\/em> al <em>funk<\/em> o al <em>blues<\/em>. <strong>Sonny Sharrock<\/strong>, ofrec\u00eda con su guitarra un <em>blues<\/em> atonal lleno de distorsi\u00f3n. Y por encima de toda esa masa sonora, <strong>Peter Br\u00f6tzmann<\/strong> aullaba con su saxo, como siempre desatado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al ser un grupo orientado principalmente hacia el directo, recomendaremos sobre todo una grabaci\u00f3n de un concierto en Tokio,<strong><em> The Noise of Trouble<\/em><\/strong> (publicado por Enemy, con la colaboraci\u00f3n en algunos temas de Akira Sakata al saxo alto y Herbie Hancock al piano).
