En este <em>Characters<\/em>, compuesto de ocho originales, John Abercrombie aborda semejante tarea fusionando sonidos el\u00e9ctricos y ac\u00fasticos, combinando improvisaci\u00f3n jazz\u00edstica con una base de aire folk y desnudando su intelecto musical. A destacar la calidad mel\u00f3dica de \u00abTelegram\u00bb y la paz de \u00abGhost Dance\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La escucha del \u00faltimo tema, \u00abEvensong\u00bb, recuerda sobremanera al \u00abLong Ago Child\u00bb que grabara Pat Metheny en su <em>New Chautauqua<\/em> unos meses despu\u00e9s. \u00bfCoincidencia? Si seguimos investigando veremos que el propio Metheny ya utiliz\u00f3 la misma f\u00f3rmula en \u00abSea Song\u00bb, del disco <em>Watercolors<\/em>, anterior a la grabaci\u00f3n de Abercrombie. Tiramos un poco m\u00e1s del hilo y llegamos a <em>Diary<\/em>, otro disco a guitarra sola, grabado en 1973 por Ralph Towner.
