En esta ocasi\u00f3n lo que nos llama la atenci\u00f3n es la enorme variedad de subg\u00e9neros presente en los tan solo cuatro temas que conforman el CD: un <em>standard<\/em> (\u00abI Know That You Know\u00bb, de Vincent Youmans), un <em>blues<\/em> arrastrado (\u00abAfter Hours\u00bb), un <em>rhythm changes<\/em> <sup>[1]<\/sup> original de Stitt (\u00abThe Eternal Triangle\u00bb) y otro <em>standard<\/em>, pero este versionado habitualmente con sonoridades de Nueva Orle\u00e1ns (\u00abOn The Sunny Side Of The Street\u00bb).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ray Bryant (piano), Tommy Bryant (contrabajo) y Charlie Persip (bater\u00eda) fueron testigos de excepci\u00f3n de una obra ecl\u00e9ctica que, adem\u00e1s de juntar a tres estrellas, sirve como peque\u00f1o compendio estil\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a9 Adolphus van Tenzing, 2012<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Sonny Side Up<\/em> (Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Stitt &amp; Sonny Rollins), Verve 8262<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><sup>[1]<\/sup> Tema basado en la armon\u00eda del \u00abI Got Rhythm\u00bb de George Gershwin.
