Al margen de este proyecto su carrera en solitario comprende <em>Land of Rain and Steel<\/em>, <em>Mundo Flotante<\/em> y algunas colaboraciones con el percusionista <strong>Vasco Trilla<\/strong> como <em>En directo en el Festival L.E.M.<\/em> o <em>Aceite de perro<\/em>, e incluso con el saxofonista <strong>Alfonso Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong> como <em>\u00c9xtasis y Tormento de Camilla Sodoma<\/em> entre otros. <strong>Amanda Pazos Cosse<\/strong>, <strong>Vasco Trilla<\/strong>, <strong>V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, y por supuesto, <strong>\u00c1ngel Ontalva<\/strong> son o han sido miembros de <strong>October Equus<\/strong>. Ahora forman parte del proyecto <em>Tierra Quemada<\/em> que firma el propio \u00c1ngel Ontalva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfD\u00f3nde empiezan y d\u00f3nde acaban \u00c1ngel Ontalva u October Equus? \u00bfEs el uno prolongaci\u00f3n del otro o son el mismo ente? En realidad son cuestiones que no parecen tener demasiado inter\u00e9s, sobre todo porque lo que importa es la obra en s\u00ed, y con ella vamos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En <em>Tierra Quemada<\/em> la esencia es profunda y el o\u00eddo tiene que estar atento. La concentraci\u00f3n tiene que ser m\u00e1xima si quieres alcanzar su secreto. Con cada escucha se revaloriza de personalidad en busca de un mensaje oculto y enigm\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Obra compleja e instrumentalmente matizada con instrumentos que entran y salen de escena, que se entremezclan de forma poco conocida produciendo <em>rock<\/em> progresivo de altura condimentado de sutiles pinceladas \u00e9tnicas que se aproximan al mundo \u00e1rabe. (\u201cTarlaya Ektim Sogan\u201d y \u201cTierra Quemada\u201d). Especialmente original en \u201cNo return\u201d donde la guitarra <em>hurdy gurdy<\/em> (zanfona) de Marc Egea se une matrimonialmente con la mel\u00f3dica de V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez. En \u201cUgetsu\u201d echa la mirada atr\u00e1s en busca del setentero King Crimson m\u00e1s apacible y sereno. Pieza de <em>largo tempo<\/em> que combina la paleta de colores con soltura, precisi\u00f3n y maestr\u00eda o en la brillante \u201cEl Telele\u201d donde un <em>mellotron<\/em> (V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez) oscurecido en un segundo plano, arropa al resto de la estructura instrumental. \u201cComanche\u201d es una ventana abierta al <em>rock naif<\/em>, tan complejo que sorprende por su amalgama instrumental aportando riqueza a una conversaci\u00f3n de mil lenguas. Pieza breve y t\u00edtulo largo, lejana en el tiempo y cercana al sonido de Henry Cow es \u201cBicycles were quite popular in the Forbidden City\u201d.
