John Abercrombie<\/b> es uno de esos guitarristas de jazz fundamentales en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. En 1975 formaba Gateway<\/b>, un tr\u00edo de lujo junto al contrabajista David Holland <\/b>y el baterista Jack DeJohnette<\/b>. En su estreno hom\u00f3nimo, publicado en el sello ECM, abr\u00edan la grabaci\u00f3n con el enorme \u00abBack-Wood Songs\u00bb. La composici\u00f3n, obra de Dave Holland<\/b>, serv\u00eda para que mostrar unos muy buenos solos y el magn\u00edfico trabajo de este tr\u00edo. No es de extra\u00f1ar que a esta grabaci\u00f3n le siguiesen Gateway 2<\/i> (1978), Homecoming <\/i>(1995) e In The Moment<\/i> (1996), todos ellos publicados tambi\u00e9n en ECM.<\/div>\n
