En 1949, m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada antes de que <b>Ornette Coleman <\/b>le diera el nombre al <i>free jazz<\/i> con el disco hom\u00f3nimo, se adelant\u00f3 grabando los temas completamente improvisados \u00abIntuition\u00bb y \u00abDisgression\u00bb. Entre 1954 y 1955 grab\u00f3 los temas que compondr\u00edan el LP <i>Lennie Tristano<\/i>. Un disco en el que una cara conten\u00eda temas grabados en estudio, mientras que la otra conten\u00eda temas grabados en directo.
