En ambos casos son la segunda entrega de sendos proyectos: el quinteto <b>Outright!<\/b> y <b>I Don\u2019t Hear Nothin\u2019 But The Blues<\/b> (que ha pasado de ser un d\u00fao junto al baterista <b>Mike Pride<\/b>,a un tr\u00edo con la adici\u00f3n del guitarrista <b>Mick Barr<\/b>).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/idonthearnothin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4481\" alt=\"idonthearnothin\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/idonthearnothin.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/idonthearnothin.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/idonthearnothin-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>En el caso de este \u00faltimo grupo, la obra <i>Appalachian Haze<\/i> consiste en un tema improvisado de 48 minutos con un planteamiento y duraci\u00f3n similares a los de la primera entrega de este proyecto, o al de otra grabaci\u00f3n de <b>Irabagon <\/b>como <a href=\"http:\/\/bun.tomajazz.com\/2010\/09\/jon-irabagon-foxy-2010.html\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Foxy<\/i> <\/a>, aunque en aquella ocasi\u00f3n el disco se extend\u00eda hasta los l\u00edmites de la duraci\u00f3n del CD. En esta entrega, el tr\u00edo sugiere m\u00e1s que lo que ofrece. Las posibilidades que lleva impl\u00edcita la improvisaci\u00f3n en directo de estos tres m\u00fasicos son m\u00faltiples, siendo la grabaci\u00f3n en CD una de las posibles proyecciones en la realidad de ese multiverso, que en esta ocasi\u00f3n se queda en un estado de gran energ\u00eda en el que parece m\u00e1s importante mantener ese <i>status quo<\/i> que desarrollarlo a partir de un di\u00e1logo con diversos estados energ\u00e9ticos, an\u00edmicos y emocionales. En directo una propuesta as\u00ed resulta deslumbrante y muy efectiva. Sin embargo un CD permite realizar un muestreo a lo largo de distintos momentos, escuchar y reescuchar, lo que elimina la magia de la inmediatez del directo.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/jonirabagon2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4480\" alt=\"jonirabagon2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/jonirabagon2.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/jonirabagon2.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/jonirabagon2-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>El caso de <i>Un Hinged <\/i>es muy diferente. El disco tiene una presentaci\u00f3n muy divertida con su portada, fotos interiores y grafismos con las que rinde homenaje a los grupos de <i>rap<\/i>. No faltan limusinas, bastones, collares, botellas de champ\u00e1n, billetes de cien d\u00f3lares, pelotas de baloncesto y unas chicas despampanantes. Sin embargo el contenido musical poco tiene que ver con ese estilo. A lo largo de los diez temas (nueve composiciones de <b>Irabagon <\/b>m\u00e1s una peculiar versi\u00f3n de \u201cTake Five\u201d de <b>Paul Desmond<\/b>) el saxofonista realiza un recorrido por distintos estilos del jazz (hay <i>jazz fusion<\/i>, <i>hard-bop<\/i>, un toque latino, <i>rhythm-and-blues<\/i>, jazz para gran orquesta) acompa\u00f1ado por un gran quinteto base (<b>Ralph Alessi<\/b> -trompeta-, <b>John H\u00e9bert<\/b> -contrabajo-, <b>Tom Rainey<\/b> -bater\u00eda- y <b>Jacob Sacks<\/b> -pianos y teclados), y puntualmente por <b>The Outright! Jazz Orchestra<\/b> (con <b>Kirk Knuffke<\/b>, <b>Ingrid Laubrock<\/b>, <b>Sam Kulik<\/b>, <b>Moppa Elliott<\/b>, <b>Terrence McManus <\/b>o <b>Eivind Opsvik <\/b>entre muchos otros). Sin embargo el inter\u00e9s de la propuesta va y viene de un tema a otro.
