Su m\u00fasica es una amalgama de influencias que van de la m\u00fasica barroca (el clavicordio se erige como un instrumento fundamental a lo largo de toda la grabaci\u00f3n) al rock progresivo y el <i>hard-rock<\/i> (intensa e incisiva la guitarra de <b>Brandon Seabrook<\/b> que tambi\u00e9n aporta en alg\u00fan momento la sonoridad radicalmente distinta del banjo), al <i>funk <\/i>o a la m\u00fasica ambiental. Con semejantes mimbres, el resultante podr\u00eda quedar en un conglomerado informe repleto de buenas intenciones. Algo que por fortuna no sucede en <i>Overseas IV<\/i>. Las influencias se reparten a lo largo de distintos momentos. Tal es as\u00ed que incluso hay alg\u00fan tema en los que el cuarteto transforma la melod\u00eda pasando con una naturalidad pasmosa un estilo a otro, y de ah\u00ed al siguiente. Otro punto importante es la manera en que el grupo maneja la intensidad, dosific\u00e1ndola sabiamente a lo largo de los cincuenta minutos que dura el CD.
