El rey, mel\u00f3mano, flautista y compositor, tuvo noticias del arte del viejo <b>Bach <\/b>y quiso conocerlo. Tras mucho insistir, su hijo <b>Carl <\/b>logr\u00f3 que aceptara la invitaci\u00f3n. Durante su estancia en Postdam, sede del palacio, y a solicitud del rey, <b>Bach <\/b>prob\u00f3 todos los pianofortes Silbermann que el monarca ten\u00eda distrubuidos por las habitaciones y salones. Demostrando su capacidad creadora, durante el recorrido <b>Bach <\/b>pidi\u00f3 al rey, de forma totalmente improvisada, una melod\u00eda para desarrollar una fuga. <b>Bach <\/b>parti\u00f3 hacia Leipzig, y en agradecimiento a la atenci\u00f3n recibida compuso la <i>Ofrenda Musical<\/i> bas\u00e1ndose en la melod\u00eda entregada por <b>Federico II<\/b>. La obra, en la que <b>Bach <\/b>desarrolla maravillosamente su arte, fue completada dos meses despu\u00e9s del encuentro y consta de dos ricercares, diez c\u00e1nones y una sonata. En el manuscrito, Bach anot\u00f3 como t\u00edtulo del primer ricercar \u00abRegis Iussu Cantio Et Reliqua Canonica Arte Absoluta\u00bb, que significa \u00abtema elaborado por el rey, y el resto desarrollado seg\u00fan el arte del canon\u00bb. La frase esconde un juego de palabras, un acr\u00f3stico: si encolumnamos las palabras de la frase, con las iniciales se forma una palabra en vertical; en este caso, justamente RICERCAR.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a9 Javier Arbon\u00e9s.
