A d\u00fao, <b>Joe McPhee <\/b>e <b>Ingebrigt Haker Flaten<\/b>, realizan una sesi\u00f3n de jazz improvisado estructurada en piezas que a pesar de los t\u00edtulos no pretenden ser m\u00fasica program\u00e1tica, pero en las que sin embargo van apareciendo algunas referencias claras. Esto comienza a las pocas notas del inicio del CD con \u201cCrossing the Bridge\u201d que trae a la mente a <b>Sonny Rollins <\/b>y su grabaci\u00f3n <i>The Bridge<\/i>. La brevedad de los temas (las ocho improvisaciones apenas duran 40 minutos) gracias a la concisi\u00f3n de los dos m\u00fasicos, unido a la variedad de sonidos que aporta <b>Joe McPhee<\/b> (que utiliza adem\u00e1s de la trompeta de bolsillo los saxos alto y soprano) y a esas m\u00faltiples referencias que van apareciendo (la m\u00fasica se podr\u00eda calificar como improvisaci\u00f3n libre idiom\u00e1tica, con un aire cercano al jazz cl\u00e1sico), favorecen el resultado final.
