El trio original y superviviente homenaje\u00f3 al trompetista <strong>Lester Bowie<\/strong> en <em><strong>Tribute To Lester<\/strong><\/em> (ECM, 2003). A estos se uni\u00f3 <strong>Joseph Jarman<\/strong> (alejado del grupo desde el inicio de los a\u00f1os 90) en\u00a0<em><strong>The Meeting.<\/strong><\/em> En este caso, lejos de ser un homenaje, es una muestra del universo musical de esta veterana formaci\u00f3n (que iniciaba su discograf\u00eda en 1967 con <strong><em>People In Sorrow<\/em><\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El inicio es gozosamente <em>hard-bopero<\/em> con reminiscencias Davisianas en forma de scat. Contin\u00faan los 19 minutos de <em>It&#8217;s The Sign Of The Times<\/em>. All\u00ed los cuatro m\u00fasicos trabajan individualmente para concluir la pieza con su reuni\u00f3n en el trabajo musical conjunto. <em>Tech Ritter and the Megabytes<\/em> y <em>The Meeting<\/em>, compuestas ambas por <strong>Roscoe Mitchell<\/strong>, muestran un car\u00e1cter m\u00e1s cercano al de composiciones cerradas que a la libertad en la ejecuci\u00f3n caracter\u00edstica del grupo. <em>Wind And Drum<\/em>, <em>Amin Bidness<\/em> y <em>The Trian To Io<\/em> son una muestra dela citada caracter\u00edstica, con todo tipo de percusiones, distintos ambientes sonoros y la interacci\u00f3n entre un aparente (e ilusorio) caos.
