Lejos de ser el t\u00edpico y t\u00f3pico tributo basado en \u00abcomposiciones de\u00bb, es un homenaje basado en \u00abcomposiciones para\u00bb. De este modo, a pesar de la recuperaci\u00f3n del grupo de una composici\u00f3n grabada en su estancia parisina a finales de los a\u00f1os 60 (<em>Tutankhamun<\/em>) y una pieza del homenajeado (<em>Zero<\/em>), el resto es un homenaje fiel en su esp\u00edritu al del trompetista de la bata blanca.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estructurado (al menos as\u00ed se puede apreciar) en dos partes, estos tres m\u00fasicos han dado una alegr\u00eda a los seguidores de su m\u00fasica por la frescura que destila a lo largo de su hora de duraci\u00f3n y el alto nivel alcanzado que ofrece tanto en composiciones como en ejecuci\u00f3n. Un complemento magn\u00edfico a la grabaci\u00f3n que tambi\u00e9n editada en 2003 por el sello Pi Recordings (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=23925\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Meeting<\/em><\/strong><\/a>) supon\u00eda el retorno al grupo del saxofonista <strong>Joseph Jarman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los cuatro primeros temas integrar\u00edan la primera parte y podr\u00edan entrar dentro de la clasificaci\u00f3n de \u00abpiezas acabadas\u00bb. <em>Sangaredi<\/em> es una magn\u00edfica sinfon\u00eda percusiva con la participaci\u00f3n de <strong>Roscoe Mitchell<\/strong> al saxo bajo. Sigue una peque\u00f1a suite en tres partes, que compuesta por <strong>Roscoe Mitchell<\/strong> tiene puntos de conexi\u00f3n tanto con la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica europea como con el free jazz y el hard bop en una magn\u00edfica parte final. 5 minutos y medio ciertamente bien aprovechados. <em>Zero<\/em> del homenajeado <strong>Bowie<\/strong> y <em>Alternate Line<\/em> nuevamente de <strong>Mitchell<\/strong>son una bonita muestra de free jazz en el sentido m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico, basado en un par de buenas composiciones.<em>Tutankhamun<\/em> es la citada relectura del tema que daba t\u00edtulo al disco hom\u00f3nimo (disponible en la actualidad en el econ\u00f3mico sello Black Lion).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La segunda parte est\u00e1 entroncada con la improvisaci\u00f3n colectiva.
