Aunque es posible que haya quien no est\u00e9 de acuerdo en esto \u00faltimo, tal es el calificativo que merece la publicaci\u00f3n de la primera grabaci\u00f3n como l\u00edder del violinista <b>Billy Bang<\/b>, junto a una sesi\u00f3n in\u00e9dita hasta el momento registrada un a\u00f1o antes por el mismo grupo.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Bang <\/b>fue una de las figuras punteras del viol\u00edn en el <i>free jazz<\/i>. En estas grabaciones de 1977 y 1978 le acompa\u00f1aron algunos m\u00fasicos que todav\u00eda siguen en activo y a gran nivel como el contrabajista <b>William Parker<\/b> y el baterista <b>Rashid Bakr<\/b>. Junto a ellos estaban otros menos conocidos como los saxofonistas <b>Bilal Abdul Raman<\/b> y <b>Henry Warner<\/b>, o el percusionista <b>Khuwana Fuller<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo que suena en estas dos grabaciones es <i>free jazz<\/i> de primera. Una d\u00e9cada y media despu\u00e9s de su irrupci\u00f3n, la m\u00fasica aparece articulada en forma de composiciones que se reconocen en los cl\u00e1sicos del g\u00e9nero no s\u00f3lo en las formas, ya que los nombres de <b>Albert Ayler<\/b> y <b>John Coltrane<\/b> est\u00e1n en los t\u00edtulos de dos de los temas. La m\u00fasica, como es natural, no olvida el compromiso pol\u00edtico y social por medio de su propia inmediatez, y tambi\u00e9n en forma del recitado de poemas de <b>Bang<\/b>.
