En el repaso de <strong>Luis Escalante<\/strong> a la biograf\u00eda del clarinetista no pod\u00edan faltar las referencias al neoyorkino <strong>Carnegie Hall<\/strong>, lugar en el que en 1938 tuvo lugar uno de los conciertos m\u00e1s famosos de la historia del jazz. La excusa es inmejorable para escuchar m\u00fasica de ese concierto (y el de su cuarenta aniversario), y con ello acercarse a la historia de este importante local, en el que <strong>James Reese Europe<\/strong> fue el primer m\u00fasico afroamericano que interpret\u00f3 all\u00ed m\u00fasica de jazz.
