De su amplia producci\u00f3n se recupera una caja con cinco grabaciones editadas a nombre de su octeto, uno de los mejores grupos de la d\u00e9cada de los ochenta. <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Entre 1980 y 1987 grab\u00f3 <i>Ming<\/i>, <i>Home<\/i>, <i>Murray\u2019s Step<\/i>, <i>New Life<\/i> y <i>Hope Scope<\/i>. En sus octetos participaron grandes nombres:\u00a0<b>Henry Threadgill<\/b>, <b>Wilber Morris<\/b>, <b>Steve McCall<\/b>, <b>George Lewis<\/b>, <b>Anthony Davis<\/b>, <b>Bobby Bradford<\/b>, <b>Butch Morris<\/b>, <b>Dave Burrell<\/b>, <b>Hugh Ragin<\/b>, <b>Craig Harris<\/b> o <b>Curtis Clark<\/b> entre otros. Esas formaciones ejecutaron con maestr\u00eda y precisi\u00f3n las magn\u00edficas composiciones de <b>Murray<\/b>. Unos temas que, como es habitual en su carrera, no s\u00f3lo miraban hacia el pasado y a su tradici\u00f3n, sino que no dejaban de avanzar hacia el futuro.
