Uno de esos artistas, otro m\u00e1s, perteneciente a la categor\u00eda de los m\u00fasicos que no han alcanzado el reconocimiento que sus buenas maneras merecen. <br \/><a name=\"more\"><\/a><br \/>Entre sus m\u00e9ritos est\u00e1n el haber participado en el cuarteto de Ornette Coleman entre 1961 y 1963. Un m\u00fasico con el que ya hab\u00eda tocado y coincidido inicialmente en Texas. Posteriormente, en 1953, se traslad\u00f3 a Los Angeles. All\u00ed toc\u00f3 con el creador de la teor\u00eda\u00a0<i>harmol\u00f3dica<\/i> y tambi\u00e9n con Eric Dolphy. Tambi\u00e9n tuvo una larga asociaci\u00f3n con el clarinetista John Carter. Tras el fallecimiento de \u00e9ste en 1991, contin\u00fao su actividad liderando el quinteto Mo\u2019tet, y tambi\u00e9n grabando y actuando con David Murray, John Stevens, Nels Cline o con la Liberation Music Orchestra de Charlie Haden.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_huJnG8dEQz8\/TJu8zKJvF2I\/AAAAAAAACB0\/p-L-6z1y9cg\/s1600\/halley_liveatpenofin.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_huJnG8dEQz8\/TJu8zKJvF2I\/AAAAAAAACB0\/p-L-6z1y9cg\/s320\/halley_liveatpenofin.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>En 2010 el saxofonista Rich Halley ha puesto en marcha el sello Pine Eagle Records con la publicaci\u00f3n de <i>Live At The Penofin Jazz Festival<\/i>. Un directo de 2008 a nombre de su cuarteto, en el que Bradford interviene como invitado especial tocando la corneta. Halley aporta las cinco composiciones. Unos temas que con duraciones en torno a los ocho minutos, caminan por el <i>free<\/i>, el <i>hard-bop<\/i>, el <i>funk <\/i>o el <i>blues<\/i>.
