Y es que uno no deja de sorprenderse. Algo que se acrecienta con el paso de los a\u00f1os, pero bueno. \u00a1Sin nostalgias! Digo esto porque han pasado dos a\u00f1os desde que publicamos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=15011\" target=\"_blank\">la rese\u00f1a del primer del <strong>Alberto Arteta Group<\/strong><\/a>. Efectivamente, aquel magn\u00edfico debut que gan\u00f3 con todo merecimiento en la VI edici\u00f3n de los Premios BBK Jazz \u201cImpulso\u201d y que adem\u00e1s se public\u00f3 en un precioso vinilo blanco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Legacy<\/em> (Errabal, 2016) es el segundo trabajo de este conjunto liderado por Arteta y que presenta siete temas m\u00e1s tres brev\u00edsimas introducciones. Hablamos de temas que se extienden en el tiempo. Que precisan de la atenci\u00f3n absoluta (\u00a1como siempre!). No por ser algo fuera de lo com\u00fan, en absoluto (de hecho el grupo tiene una fuerte base cl\u00e1sica) lo digo por aquello de sumergirse en las ideas de Arteta y dejar que los cinco (magn\u00edficos) m\u00fasicos te expliquen sus historias. Hay, al igual que en el anterior trabajo, un peso muy importante en las melod\u00edas. Algunas de ellas son de las de \u201c<em>hay que hacerlo\u201d<\/em> que dec\u00eda nuestro eterno Cifu. Y vaya si lo hacen, la compenetraci\u00f3n es absoluta y altamente placentera. Tal vez uno de los mejores saxofonistas espa\u00f1oles de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, en mi opini\u00f3n, tiene aquella virtud de parecer que puede tocar sin pararse durante horas\u2026 hasta el infinito y continuamente renovando las ideas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre los temas encontramos alguna preciosa delicatesen como la versi\u00f3n de \u201cMy Romance\u201d (de Richard Rodgers) o \u201cP.C.
