En lo que va de a\u00f1o 2010 ha publicado un par de discos centrados en repertorios ajenos al jazz a cu\u00e1l m\u00e1s interesante.<\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div>Hace unos d\u00edas comentaba la versi\u00f3n que de <i><a href=\"http:\/\/bun.tomajazz.com\/2010\/07\/puttin-on-ritz-white-light-white-heat.html\" target=\"_blank\">White Light \/ White Heat<\/a><\/i> (el disco m\u00e1s arriesgado de la Velvet Underground) hac\u00eda el grupo Puttin\u2019 On The Ritz. Ahora es el turno a <i><a href=\"http:\/\/bun.tomajazz.com\/2010\/07\/puttin-on-ritz-white-light-white-heat.html\">Pretend it&#8217;s the End of the World<\/a><\/i>, el estreno discogr\u00e1fico de Bryan and the Haggards. Tras este nombre est\u00e1n todos los integrantes de los Big V Chord del guitarrista John Lundbom. Liderado por el saxofonista tenor Bryan Murray, esta banda de versiones le sirve para rendir homenaje a Merle Haggard.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Las canciones de este m\u00fasico de <i>country<\/i>, sus composiciones junto con algunos temas de su repertorio,<i>\u00a0<\/i>son la excusa para que el quinteto realice un particular acercamiento a su legado. A destacar tres momentos: el particular <i>scat <\/i>en \u201cAll Of Me Belongs To Me\u201d, a Ornette Coleman pasado por el <i>country <\/i>en \u201cWorking Man Blues\u201d o la <i>ayleriana <\/i>\u201cTrouble In Mind\u201d.
